Avocado returns with a new Stuck in the 80’s! Berit returns with a new Radioreise in Nigeria. Then might be a little live show in between and there will definitely be a big Booom at the end.
Details to this weeks Radioreise:
Nigeria in den 1970er Jahren das war ein schweißtreibender Hexenkessel aus Trommelrhythmen, heißen Partys und den neu erwachenden Klängen des Afrobeats. In Lagos war der place to be definitiv der Africa Shrine, die Bar von Fela Kuti. Aber außerhalb des Fela-Kosmos‘ gibt es viele andere musikalischen Perlen aus dieser Zeit zu entdecken. Freut euch auf hypnotische Songs voller Bläser, funkiger Gitarren, blubbernder Synthesizer und ekstatischer Trommelwirbel von The Funkees bis zu Shina Williams. Obendrauf gibt es noch eine ganz persönliche Geschichte zu Nigeria, Radioreise eben, dazu Infos zur österreichischen Künstlerin Susanne Wenger, die in Nigeria zur einflussreichen Yoruba-Priesterin wurde und einen Tipp zum reich werden.
