Fasching vorbei. Pause vorbei. The 80’s start us off today. Maybe live. We have a new Radioreise Westafrika, Astro Special und Dancehall Booom too. Very cool.
This week’s Radioreise is this:
Freut Euch auf den zweiten Teil der Radioreise Westafrika aus Paris. Berit besucht ein Metalkonzert im L‘International und landet dann aber doch schnell wieder beim Afrobeat, nämlich bei einem Konzert von Afreeboat im Les Disquaires. Nur zwei Wochen später führt sie ihr erstes Interview auf Französisch und ist dabei ziemlich aufgeregt. Nicolas (Bass) und Fabrice (Bariton-Saxophon) von Afreeboat erzählen von den Anfängen der Band, persönlichen Verbindungen nach Westafrika, von einem wenig beachteten Tier (dem Kurzflossen-Grindwal) und von Verteilungskämpfen ums Wasser.
Dieses Mal außerdem mit Musik von Amadou et Mariam, Fatoumata Diawara, Nicolas Repac und More Kante. Sein Discokracher Yeke Yeke (natürlich in der Version: The French Remix)wird zum Rausschmeißer. Bevor es aber soweit ist, müsst Ihr natürlich erst einmal einschalten.
